![]() ![]() I would love to meet people who are also interested in creating this kind of future, where we can help take care of each other's property if one of us needs to travel, sharing what we can and learning from each other. There is also the possibility of buying the lot next door from my brother if we need more space. Alternatively, if you are interested in communal living and want a small area to build a home and grow food on, I could potentially sell around half hectare. La Fortuna is a big tourism hub with a growing interest in natural and organic products, and could be a good place to start a small business. 1 hectare is a little too much to take care of on my own and there is so much more that could be done here if we had more people! So if you are looking for a place to run a small business (making honey, a greenhouse for organic vegetables, raising chickens, etc) I could sell you a small piece of land here. Imagining the future for this project, I think it could work very well to share this land with people who are also committed to permaculture and a natural way of growing food. We have here the possibility of a long term stay for someone considering purchasing land/sharing the project: It is a little slice of heaven, a place to watch birds and butterflies, commune with the occasional porcupine or sloth, or simply recharge while listening to ripples of the small brook that runs through it. In addition to the farm, we also maintain a small second growth forest that is home a number of endangered trees and plants. We grow most of our own food, and are involved with several organizations around Costa Rica dedicated to preserving endemic seeds, crops, and plants Welcome! This is a 1 hectare permaculture and ecotourism farm about15 minutes outside of La Fortuna, Costa Rica. ![]()
